Dilbert is the protagonist of the eponymous comic strip series by Scott Adams.

In Reality[edit | edit source]

Dilbert is an electrical engineer working in a white-collar office job for an otherwise unidentified tech company. Already troubled by poor to non-existent social skills, he furthermore has to cope with the insane bureaucracy, bizarre degrees of mismanagement (intentionally or not), and plain old corporate greed imposed on him by his superiors or colleagues from other departments - particularly the dreaded finance trolls down from Accounting.

In short, Dilbert parodies the cubicle-bound modern office culture, and apparently does so with enough success that the series has been running for the better part of 30 years now.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Dilbert debuted in 8chanmania LVI, but judging by his markedly erratic and nonsensical comment, the horrors of his office job have finally succeeded in shattering his sanity. He bested Shun Akiyama, pinned Master Chief ("if you put a plunger into the toilet, it penetrates the water"), likewise pinned R-24 (who thought that the "human was malfunctioning", and that comes from a clone mass-produced to kill), but ultimate was banished by Solaire after announcing that he was going to take his helmet.

Fans have speculated to which if any of the pre-existing powers (such The White) Dilbert would belong, but he likely is so far gone that the question is like asking why Tuesday is made of butterscotch gravy.
