Ditto is a pokemon from the original Pokemon Red/Blue.

Bio[edit | edit source]

A rather strange specimen, Ditto's natural state is that of an amorphous blob whose only notable characteristics are a mouth, two beady eyes, and two pseudopods it can use as hands. What actually makes it stand out is Ditto's ability to somehow copy any given opponent's genetic code and reorganize its own cells to become a nigh-perfect copy of the target. This ability notably works even on opponents that are dramatically taller (or shorter) than Ditto itself, and allows it access to all of its foes' abilities. The only serious shortcoming of this skill is that Ditto can not copy an enemy's experience level.

Aside from its rather idiosyncratic use in pokemon battles, Ditto also sees frequent use as a breeding animal, as its genetic variability means it can breed with (almost) everything. Considering Ditto transforms into a near-perfect copy of any Pokemon it encounters, this should technically result in inbreeding and atrocious birth defects in its offspring, but it's not like that ever stopped people.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Ditto debuted in 8chanmania XLI, where it got deleted by a Tetris Block. It also starred in the eight-way after-show royal rumble between it, the TF2 Scout, Point Man, Headdy, Sadako Yamamura, Ran Yakumo, Shaggy Rogers and H.P. Lovecraft, but Ditto lost to Lovecraft after the latter steadfastly refused to quantify and qualify his cosmic horrors in plain English.

Ditto 8chanmania LIV, this time with Android 21 as its trainer. Ditto managed to defeated the Reshiram of Seto Kaiba, but then got spooked by the MissingNo. of the Pokemon Trainer.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

During 8chanmania XCVII, Ditto fought under the Fullderp Trainer, and defeated both Big Tiddy Tau and The White. Its eventual defeat came at the man-sized hands of Abby Anderson, presumably because Ditto was badly confused by the human's respective physiology.
