Guile is a recurring character in the Street Fighter series, debuting in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Holding the rank of Major in the United States Air Force, Guile enjoys a seemingly stoic temper and an outrageous hairstyle modeled after Jean-Pierre Polnareff. His actual role in the overall plot of the story usually boils down to his hate-boner for M. Bison and his Shadaloo organization after Bison may or may not have necessitated the heroic self-sacrifice of Guile's former mentor, Charlie Nash.

Long story short, Guile was designed with the idea of appealing to the American audience of the then still-young Street Fighter series, and hence is so goddamn American he eats burgers and shits confetti. His interests include American coffee, American automobiles, American country music, and having the Stars-and-Stripes tattooed on both of his shoulders. In the rare event that he is not busy defending the American way of life or obsessing over Charlie, he also happens to be a loving husband to his wife Julia and a caring father to his daughter Amy.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Guile (presumably) first fought in 8chanmania X; forming a somewhat unusual team with Dante. Unfortunately, they immediately were kicked out by Mega Man and Zero.

His only other appearance was in 8chanmania LXXXVII, where he promptly ate a brutal KO at the hands of Bryan Fury.
