Hammerman was the titular protagonist of the short-lived cartoon show Hammerman, as embodied by MC Hammer.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Youth center worker Stanley Burrell (which coincidentally happens to be MC Hammer's off-stage name) lives a fairly regular life. Then he runs into a pair of sentient, talking dance shoes that give him the ability to turn into the eponymous Hammerman - the first superhero that used rap music to fight crime and disaster instead of causing it in the first place.

From the thirteen episodes that have been undug by enthusiasts of lost media, the show's overall budget appears to be roughly on par with that of Chargeman Ken. Or possibly below it. Whether or not this is physically possible remains one of the many unanswered questions of science, right along the interior of neutron stars and the theoretical existence of wormholes.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Hammerman's sole appearance was in 8chanmania XXIV. As a rather obscure wildcard, he went off to a good start by KO'ing Hatate Himekaidou and then totaling the next Touhou whore in the form of Hong Meiling, but then got stepped on by the giant mech Mazinkaiser.
