Ignatius Mortimer Meen, better known as I.M. Meen, is a malevolent wizard from the eponymous 1995 DOS game of the same name.

In Reality[edit | edit source]

Meen is a slightly unhinged magician that apparently suffers from severe dyslexia and holds a deep-rooted dislike against diligent students. His main activity hence consists of using an enchanted book to suck children into his labyrinth, where they must fight various monsters and correct various grammatical and spelling errors in scrolls left behind by the wizard, before finally taking on I.M. Meen himself.

According to the sequel Chill Manor, Meen apparently is married to a sorceress named Ophelia Chill who likes to mess with history books.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

I.M. Meen first showed himself during 8chanmania XXXIX. He defeated fellow Youtube Poop gold candidate King Harkinian and the Wii Fit Trainer, but was sent home by the dreaded ghost pirate LeChuck.

The 8chanmania XLIV tag team tournament saw him fighting alongside Dr Robotnik. Despite of the fact that the two spent more time mocking one another than they did opposing their enemies, they nonetheless defeated Keine Kamishirasawa and Fujiwara no Mokou, but stood no chance against the oldschool memes of Mona and Nigra.

Happy to get rid of his would-be partner, Meen did it a third time for 8chanmania LI. Or tried to, at least - Ugandan national hero VJ Emmie kicked him right out of the preliminaries (and attempted to recruit him for a new movie).

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • I.M. Meen is chiefly known through a limitless quantity of YouTube poops starring him, and his game was made by the same team that did the infamously bad Zelda CGI titles.
  • Barring limited exceptions, Meen speaks in rhymes with a simple AB/AB scheme.
