Junko Enoshima is a recurring protagonist from Danganropa.
Bio[edit | edit source]
A "not fake" fashionista on the surface, Junko enjoys (or suffers from) extremely powerful analytic skills; allowing her to predict the outcome of various events with disturbing accuracy. Unfortunately, this same ability means that she is painfully bored by the world at large and even by her own personality.
The only emotion which does not bore her and which she deems worth having is deep, bottomless despair - be it her own, or that of others. That others may not share this assessment is of little importance to her, and thus Junko sets out to make her school and the world as a whole more interesting by using her social influence to inspire violent riots, mass suicides, and other cheerful events.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 2[edit | edit source]
Junko started her first carnival of despair in 8chanmania XLII, where she defeated Jevil and then was defeated herself by Citizen Snips.
She made a similarly short-lived appearance in 8chanmania XLVI, which once again saw her besting her first opponent (in the form of Kula Diamond), only to draw the short end of the stick against the second one (namely R-23).
For the porn-themed 8chanmania LXIII, Junko found an equally sociopathic employer in the form of SHODAN. Despite some early frustrations over not getting to adopt the Switch Dog after defeating it, she got the chance to vent on Grizela in the next round. Her actual chance to put the belt around her waist still was stymied by the Pac-Man Girls.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
The Queen of Despair gave it her all again in 8chanmania LXXXIII. Which apparently did not amount to much, as she immediately got her bubbly butt kicked by Peacock.
Having made it into the porn-themed 8chanmania XCVI, Junko correctly predicted her victory over Alex from the Totally Spies, but was less effective at predicting the severe beating she received at the hands of Tifa Lockhart.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Junko Enoshima was one of two rogue fighters during 8chanmania LXIII who were not under the command of either GLaDOS, SHODAN, or Hatsune Miku; the second one being Lain Iwakura. What would have happened if she had won is up to debate, but it likely involved healthy doses of despair.
