Kurt Angle is an American actor, producer, and (by now retired) wrestler.

Bio[edit | edit source]

A legit athlete, Kurt Steven Angle began not as a pro-wrestler, but as an amateur greco-roman wrestler for the US's Olympic team, fist competing at Clarion University of Pennsylvania as an AC college wrestler. His first highlight came when participating in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he won the gold medal after a impressive fight with Abbas Jadidi despite of a previous neck injury.

After trying to get on board with pro-wrestling as a whole with a guest apperance at ECW, Angle finally joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1997, finally debuting in 1999 during that year's Survivor Series. After an affair with Total Nonstop Wrestling (TNA) that spanned from 2006 to 2017 and saw him involved with the Main Event Mafia twice, he eventually returned to WWE in 2018, and spend another year there until he officially retired in 2019.

8chanmania[edit | edit source]

The Olympic legend debuted in the tournament alongside the hell fairy Clownpiece at the second tag-team edition of 8chanmania. Since both competitors shared similar gimmicks and ring-gear (Kurt being an US olympic champ with the flag's colors on his attire, Clownpiece being inspired by the US flag on the moon for her costume) , the team was nicknamed "Team America" and "Olympic Fairytale" by the crowd. Unfortunately, it also got its rear handed to them by Masahiro Chono and Ryuji Goda.
