Mega Man X is the protagonist of the eponymous Mega Man X series. He also appears in Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Built after the original Mega Man by Dr Light, Mega Man X is an overall improvement over his predecessor. Light, however, was uncertain whether X's enhanced cognitive capacities and especially his semblance of free will would not cause the robot to use its power for less-than-noble goals, and thus sealed it in a special capsule that subjected X to thirty year's worth of assorted system of moral tests.

Unfortunately, Light already was an old man and had died by the time X completed all tests. It therefore took another seventy years before X was brought to life by a Dr. Cain, who was thoroughly baffled by the robot's advanced systems and thus used him as a template for a new generation of robots dubbed 'Reploids'. Unfortunately, the Reploids were not put into the same thirty-year testing procedure as X had been, causing a number of them to go berserk. X later would join the elite Maverick Hunters to eliminate these killing machines, and over 9000 pages of background story and cameo appearances followed.

TL/DR: It's a more mature/edgier version of Mega Man.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Mega Man X debuted in 8chanmania LVII, where he promptly tapped out against Smithy.

His second coming (and first actual victory) was during PilotMania, where he busted one of the Mars People before tapping out again, this time against Green Soldier.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

During 8chanmania LXIX, he served as the manager of Zero.

He himself fought once more in 8chanmania LXXV. There, he bested Beat (from whom he acquirred a Graffiti Blaster) and the 1-Up Mushroom (from whom he acquired extra armor), as well as Captain Qwark (from whom he got a nasty beating and a ticket back home).

Already being close partners in their main job, it came as no surprise that X and Zero formed a tag team for 8chanmania LXXVI. Together, the two defeated:

Needless to say, each mania only comes with one belt, and as such, X and Zero ultimately had to fight one another - a fight that X lost.

X's next chance to win his own belt came with 8chanmania LXXXIII, and then flew by when he got trashed by Waspinator.

His last recorded appearance was in 8chanmania XCVII. He ensured that BABA IS LOSS, but despite of his terrific new custom model, he still was defeated by Teagan Almace in the next round.
