'Nine-Ball is a mech from the Armored Core series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Following an apocalyptic war only known as The Great Destruction, the sorry remains of humanity have been divided up between two opposing mega-corps - Chrome and Murakumo Millennium. While both groups are all but openly at war with each other, they leave their actual battle to various mercenary groups. The perhaps most important of these groups is the Raven's Nest - a loose group of mecha pilots that provided fearsome firepower in exchange for coin.

The actual command structure of Raven's Nest was relatively trivial; with its main base and the artificial intelligence ruling it mostly serving to supply the actual pilots with assignments and ammunition. Nonetheless, it had a dedicated champion in the form of Nine-Ball and its pilot, Hustler One. Who exactly Hustler One was remained an open secret, as the few opponents who dared to challenge him didn't survive to tell the tale.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Nine-Ball fought in 8chanmania XXIX. It defeated Kamen Rider Black RX in the preliminaries, but while it made it straight to the semi-finals, Tetris Block proved to be more than its armaments were meant to handle.

While a technical fuck-up on the part of TNA uncovered the secret far earlier than it had meant to be, Nine-Ball's loss against Tetris Block revealed it had been remote-controlled by no-one else than Cirno. Who, in turn, had hoped to cheat her way towards a belt after repeatedly jobbing and being banned from the remainder of the first season.
