Oscar Masan is a character from the slightly controversial adventure Gone Home.
Bio[edit | edit source]
'Uncle Oscar', as he is fondly remembered by the family, was a well-respected pharmacist than ran a local apothecary. It was he who bought The House on Arbor Hill, serving as the game's setting, and also he who later bequeathed it upon his much-beloved nephew, Terrence Mason.
Years later, Terrence's daughter Katie returns to the house after having spent a year studying in Europe. She finds the whole place abandoned; her only hint about the whereabouts of her family being a vaguely-written note by her older sister Samantha. In said note, Samantha urges her not to look for answers. Katie, not being able to mind hero own business, goes looking for answers anyway. Turns out, Uncle Oscar really loved his nephew very much.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
The late spirit of Uncle Oscar haunted the 'Bad Games Mania' of 8chanmania XXXVIII. What exactly he was seeking to do there is unknown, and will remain unknown since he got an impromptu exorcism (and criminal charge) by Daniel Lazarski.
