Pyrrhus of Epirus was a Greek king and general.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Heir to prince Aeicides of Epirus, Pyrrhus became king of Epirus at the ripe age of eleven and was dethroned while traveling abroad when he was seventeen. Aged 29, he returned to Epirus at the head of an army, but unwilling to risk a civil war, he agreed to rule alongside his former co-monarch and later usurper Neoptolemus II. Which he later had murdered after inviting him to dinner. It was fine - Neoptolemus had the same idea.

A whole lot of historical baggage later, a young Rome bullied the Greek colony Tarentum in southern Italy. Pyrrhus went over there and bullied the Romans right back, even if the casualties his own army took (especially in the Battle of Asculum) coined the term of the "Pyrrhic Victory". Finding Rome itself to be too heavily fortified, Pyrrhus instead messed with the Carthaginians in Sicily for a while before ultimately returning to Greece, and died during the Siege of Sparta. His cause of death supposedly was a roof tile thrown by an old woman that knocked him off his horse and broke his spine.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Pyrrhus debuted in 8chanmania LVI, where Charles Barkley slammed him out of the ring and kept him there for long enough to incur a rare ring-out.

During 8chanmania LIX, Pyrrhus landed an initial victory against Kuro, but then got his heathen ass KO'd by Claude Frollo.

8chanmania C[edit | edit source]

Pyrrhus took part in the Historical Harrowing of 8chanmania C. Though one of the last of the fighters to enter and leave the ring, no amount of ancient military tactics stood a chance against the nuclear hellfire of Utsuho Reiuji.
