Replica Assassins are fast and comparatively silent elite forces under the command of Paxton Fettel. They appear in FEAR and FEAR 2.

Bio[edit | edit source]

The assassins originally were part of Project Icarus, which effectively took pre-existing Replica Soldiers and replaced every single bone in their body with a light-weight carbon fiber composite, giving them vastly superhuman dexterity. Project Icarus eventually was scrapped due to being too costly for Armachan, and all affiliated individuals were put into stasis.

The survivors of Project Icarus were eventually reactivated by Paxton Fettel, and were more than happy to kill Armachan employees or anyone else who stood between them and their revenge.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

The Replica Assassin appeared in 8chanmania XXXIX. He fought against and was quickly beaten into submission by Gunther Hermann.

His second fighting chance was during 8chanmania L, where he was quite a bit more lethal. The assassin dispatched both Nathan Spencer and Robin Mask, but ultimately could not defeat the sweet little lies of Todd Howard.

As all good things come in threes, the Replica Assassin once more left his stealth mode to fight in 8chanmania LXIV. He dismantled the Swedish mercenary Mattias Nilson (and left him at Alma's utter lack of mercy), defeated a god in the form of Heaven Attained DIO, and banished The Banisher. Sadly, all of his mobility did little to help him in the fight against Brauggi, and the assassin eventually tapped out while in a submission hold of the frost giant.

Did we mention threes are good? Three Replica Assassins (T,N,R, and shame on you if you read it any other way) attended 8chanmania LXVIII. While only one of them was in the ring at any given time, they were planned to switch for the next one after each fight (much like The Cheetahmen, but the wonderful FPW 2.0 made this impossible. As such, only Assassin T entered the ring. He defeated Joe Musashi, Morrie Mozzarella, the unlikely opponent Violet, and might have made it much further if he hadn't cut himself on the concentrated edge of Not Important.
