"Settra does not serve! Settra rules!"
— Settra the Imperishable

Settra the Imperishable is a major character from Warhammer Fantasy.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Once upon a time, a still-alive Settra was the ruler of the ruler of Khemri in the faux-Egyptian lands of Nehekhara. While not very pleasant to be around, Settra was a gifted military leader, and he went on to unify the warring kingdoms of Nehekhara by leading his armies against anyone that happened to look at him the wrong way. Then he realized all that power would be gone once he died, and Settra didn't like that one bit.

They did their best, but despite of an enormously long lifespan, Settra eventually kicked the bucket anyway. He remained dead and buried until the supreme asshole (in)famously known as Nagash decided to flood the entirety of Nehekhara with necromantic energies, raising all of its dead as skeleton warriors and mummy kings. Except for Settra, whose mausoleum pyramid had fancy magic wards on it.

Alas, the resurrected rulers of Nehekhara promptly went back to the warring kingdoms period, and Nehekhara fell into a state of chaos. Which only lasted for the better part of 2000 years until the mortuary priests decided to bring Settra back. Royally pissed at the sorry state of his kingdom, the resurected ruler went unto a curbstomp spree until all other tomb kings bowed to him, and swore to restore Nehekhara to its golden age.

Unfortunately, his plan was hindered by two factors: Firstly, Nagash came back as an overpowered lackey of the gods of Chaos. Secondly, Games Workshop decided to flip the chessboard by destroying the world of Warhammer Fantasy (literally so) and then enacting even more necromancy by turning it into Age of Sigmar.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Settra the Imperishable fought in 8chanmania XXIII, where was promptly sent back to the crypt by Henry of Skalitz.
