Stan S. Stanman is a recurring character from the Monkey Island series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Stan is the very epitome of a shrewd businessman: Smooth, attentive, and ready to chew your ear off until you buy one of his products. Accentuated by his odd sense of fashion and his habit of gesticulating at murderous speeds, Stan has the ability to praise shelf-warmers with a kind of enthusiasm that would make Todd Howard run green with envy.
While originally dealing in used ships (and indeed being the one to sell Guybrush Threepwood his first vessel), Stan is a very versatile merchant and has sold everything ranging from aforementioned ships to coffins, crypts, crosses, life insurances, time shares, used restaurant supplies, real estates, voodoo-enhanced asbestos, and courtroom souvenirs. If Stan can't sell it to you, it doesn't exist.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Stan's only appearance was in 8chanmania XXXIX, where Truman Burbank rudely refused to buy any of his bull.
