The Boss is a major character from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Bio[edit | edit source]

An American soldier of some renown, the Boss had a long an illustrious career with the US military than stretched from her first action in 1941 until her untimely death in 1964. Between her laying out the basics for what later would become known as CQC as she snatched away assorted enemy officers, giving birth to a son via caesarean section under the battlefield conditions of D-Day, and being the first human the United States (failed) to launch into space, the events that formed the woman which came to be known as The Legendary Soldier are too numerous to be retold here.

Despite of being more akin to a living weapon than to a regular human, The Boss displayed a strong and even motherly attachment to the soldiers under her command that would later see her exemplified as The Mother of Special Forces. This bond held especially true with an agent named Naked Snake, whom she treated as if he were her own son. Fervently loyal to her nation, The Boss sacrificed herself to prevent a devastating nuclear war between the US and the USSR, even if political maneuvering meant her role would never be known and she instead was branded as a traitor.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

The Boss debuted alongside her all-but-explicit foster son Big Boss in 8chanmania XLIV, but the two of them were quickly sent back into the annals of history by Jetstream Sam and Raiden.

She later appeared in 8chanmania XCI, where she defeated Sonya Blade and reprimanded her over not showing enough love to her daughter before she dismantled the mecha Justice and ultimately saw her demise at the hands of Kazumi Mishima.
