Tommy Wiseau is an actor and screenwriter; most famous for his cinematic masterpiece The Room.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Wiseau's background is a mystery. He self-reportedly lived in Europe before joining relatives in Louisiana and eventually moving to San Francisco, where he worked a variety of jobs until he became financially independent by renting out retail space. His debut movie The Room allegedly is based on an unpublished 540-page novel of his and came with a budget of six million dollars (advertising costs such as the $300,000 he paid for a Hollywood billboard ad not included). This, together with the rather idiosyncratic nature of his work, has lead to a thousand different rumors alleging anything from Wiseau being an alien to him and The Room being nothing more than a front for money laundering by an organized crime group.

Whatever the truth may be, there is little denying that Wiseau and The Room rapidly gained a cult following that faithfully visits midnight showings of the movie dressed up as their favorite characters and armed with dangerous quantities of aerodynamic plastic tableware; making him the mainstream version of BMN.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Tommy Wiseau, partnered up with the Immunity Doggo, debuted in 8chanmania XLIV. Unfortunately, the odd couple was kicked out of the tournament in the very first match after Wiseau himself was pinned by Monster Hunter and Deviljho.

After a lengthy break, he reappeared in 8chanmania LXXVII. The attempts of Lolice to arrest him proved fruitless, and Reiko Nagase fared none the better against the cinematic genius. None of the plots he could come up with sufficed to overrule the plot armor of Default-Chan, however.
