Archaon the Everchosen is the champion of Chaos from Warhammer Fantasy.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Conceived through involuntary intercourse between an Imperial mother and a Chaos marauder, young Archaon entered life with an exceptionally poor starting hand. His lot somewhat improved after the abandoned infant boy was adopted by an Imperial priest of Sigmar, and by the time he was an adult, he had managed to become a templar within the illustrious Order of the Twin-Tailed Orb.

Unbeknownst to him, however, fate not only had given him a poor starting hand, but had stacked the entire deck against him. Which in practice meant he was destined to become the eternal champion of the dark gods, and which also meant his entirely life had been carefully orchestrated by the daemon prince Be'lakor. When he finally read the prophecies regarding this entire mess, the hitherto noble knight blew a fuse. The pierce of warpstone stuck in his eye probably didn't help.

Now fully embracing his status as the 'Everchosen' of Chaos, Archaon spent a century or so collecting some magical chaos artifacts before turning to the main plan: Destroying the whole world. The Everchosen very nearly would have succeeded in this undertaking, had he not been bitch-slapped by the Ork warboss Grimgor Ironhide at the last possible moment.

A couple of years later, Archaon finally got what he wanted - not so much through the blessings of the Chaos gods, but mostly because Games Workshop wanted to kill off the setting in order to generate sales for its would-be succesor, Age of Sigmar.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Archaon fought in 8chanmania XLII. Already being used to corrupting influences; he easily bested the dark god Thalamus, and told him to proverbially "git gud" on behalf of Tzeentch. The leader of the Chaos Marauders then got marauded himself by Marauder protagonist Akhmet.
