Arle Nadja is the protagonist of the original Madou Monogatari and the later Puyo Puyo games.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Being somewhat of a prodigy when it comes to the arcane arts, Arle was the only child to qualify when it came to the day of her magic kindergarten graduation test. Which effectively meant she had to fight her way through a giant tower filled with monsters at the tender age of six. Thanks to Madou Monogatari being a sugary-sweet anime girl dungeon crawler, she emerges more or less unscathed, and grows up to be a cheerful (if slightly tomboyish) young sorceress.
Years later, when dungeon crawlers fell out of fashion and the audience could no longer be bothered with annual remakes of the first three episodes, Arle spontaneously became the mascot of the tetris-like Puyo Puyo series. A cynical person might claim she solely exists as a glorified mascot girl now held in chains by SEGA, but badmouthing either her or the original Madou Monogatari games is a surefire way to get lynched by Japanese dungeon crawler enthusiasts.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Arle debuted in 8chanmania LI against Game Over Grunty. During the match, TNA remarked that he would enjoy it lore-wise if Arle wins (since Line-Block had won the mania prior) which naturally means that she was immediately kicked out of the prelims in a pinfall 30 seconds later. Thanks TNA.
