Armakuni is the protagonist of The Last Ninja series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

When the Mystic Shadow Warriors ninja clan made its decennial pilgrimage to the Shrine of the White Ninja on the Island of Lin Fen, Armakuni was the sole member left behind to guard the clan's native Bunkinkan Shrine. This saved his life, for the entire rest of his clan was slaughtered by the jealous Shogun Kunitoki and the legions of demons under his command. As the sole survivor, Armakuni swore an oath of vengeance.

This sets the stage for The Last Ninja, which - given the fairly limited resources of home computers back in '87 - was a pretty impressive action-adventure for its time. Its immense popularity led to two sequels that saw Armakuni's hunt for Bunkinkan expanded to the urban jungle of New York and the labyrinthine hallways of a Tibetan mountain fortress, before he finally got his revenge in the swirling chaos of Limbo itself.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

Armakuni debuted in 8chanmania LXXIX. Hoping to win the tournament's prize money so he could fund a new ninja school and revive his clan, he first faced off against the "silent maiden" Chell. He defeated her, but was left so impressed that he offered to let her be the first student of his new school. Alas, this enraged Austin Idol, who threatened him with legal action because his school was the only school officially endorsed by the mania.

Following his victory over Chell, Armakuni next faced Zell Dincht. Zell managed to overcome the ninja's advantage in skill and subterfuge by the sheer power of FIST, but still suggested he become an instructor at Balamb Garden before he went on to fight for a lifetime supply of hot dogs.

8chanmania C[edit | edit source]

Armakuni was one of the selected fighters chosen for a choice match in 8chanmania C, namely against Mr. Shake Hands Man. The latter ended up shaking his hand so vigorously that Armakuni eventually ended up tapping out.
