Artyom Alekseyevich Chyornyj is the main protagonist of the Metro 2033 , as well as the video games adapted from the latter.
Bio[edit | edit source]
It is the year 2033. Much as with cities across the rest of the globe, the atomic holocaust has reduced Moscow to ruins and ashes. Only those who had managed to get into Moscow's expansive Metro system - always intended to double as a bomb-shelter in times of war - are still alive. But it's a bleak existence, forever plagued by sparse resources, manifold dangers, and, worst of all, horrors on the surface just waiting to bet let in.
It would be too bad if some dumbass kid went exploring in a derelict station and opened a gate to the surface without quite knowing how to close it again. Right, Artyom?
Anyway, Artyom is quite aware he is to blame for the strange mutants that keep attacking his native VDNKh, and thus quite eager to run a little errand for the mysterious stranger that seeks to take care of them. Said errand should only require him to enter the central Polis ring-stations along a well-used trade route, but a few twists and turns mean Artyom gets to see the better part of the Metro before dropping yet another nuke on Moscow.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Artyom and fellow gas mask fetishist Strelok formed a tag team for 8chanmania XLIV. Unfortunately, pitting two people whose lives were ruined by the powers of the atom against two people who wield the power of the atom turned out to be a spectacularly bad idea.
