Black Dynamite is the main protagonist of the eponymous African-American drama movie.

Bio[edit | edit source]

When his brother Jimmy lies dead at the hands of the local crime boss and heroin floods into Black orphanages, Vietnam veteran and former CIA operator Black Dynamite vows to free the streets from the rampant crime and gangsters. Not through Sunday church, or social programs, or bitch-ass stuff like doing away with a prison industry that runs on glorified slave labor. But through the real stuff: Kung Fu.

Chopping and kicking away left and right, Black Dynamite soon learns that nothing is as it seems. For the supposed drug mob he's been taking out actually is nothing more than a front for a clandestine government conspiracy. Its aim: Poison Black Men all across the United States with malt liquor, and cripple the one thing that gives them some sense of pride and purpose: Their Richards.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Black Dynamite, with moral support from Fred Rogers, fought in 8chanmania XCII. He tried to take on Mr. T, but even being a kung-fu hustler with a 5000$ car and a 100$ suit doesn't prevent you from being a fool.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Like every successful movie from the 2010s pretending to be a movie from the 70s, Black Dynamite got its own prequel cartoon adaption from Adult Swim; putting it in good company with The Boondocks.
  • It also got a pseudo-sequel in the form of Outlaw Johnny Black, which got mixed reviews because people waiting for an intentionally bad sequel for an intentionally bad blaxploitation parody didn't really need a fairly generic Western comedy.
