The Blemmy (or Blemmyae, or Akephaloi, or Ewaipanoma) was a legendary creatures of European myth.

Bio[edit | edit source]

The Blemmy is one of the many demi-humans that people from antique and medieval Europe thought to be living in the blank spots on the map. Where the Cynocephalii were thought to have the heads of dogs, the Blemmy sported no head at all, and instead carried its face on its chest. Whether or not its eyes also were on its chest or its shoulders remains up for debate.

Reports of Blemmies were spread from the ancient writers of Greece like Herodotus (who, for the record, would never bullshit his audience just for fun and giggles) to early modern authors like Sir Walter Raleigh (who, for the record, didn't have time for bullshit, as he was too busy ensuring Queen Elizabeth remained an immaculate virgin).

To make a long story short, Western scholars keep having a violent argument on whether or not the headless-hence-dumb Blemmies mostly were just thinly-veiled slur for Black people. Japanese scholars, meanwhile, have already left such trivialities behind, and mostly concern themselves over the question if the eyes of a female Blemmy would also replace its nipples.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

As a Manager[edit | edit source]

The Blemmy first debuted in the Pokémon-themed 8chanmania LIV, where it served as the trainer of the Blemmy-inspired Hitmonlee. Its underling gave roundhouse kicks to various parties, including the Incineroar of Ken Masters, the Solgaleo of Solaire, and the Kadabra of Reigen Arataka. During the semi-finals, however, it still got told to '♂♂♂FUCK YOU♂♂♂ by the Machamp of Aniki.

As a Fighter[edit | edit source]

The Blemmy itself entered the ring in 8chanmania LVII, but couldn't keep up with the speed of the resurrected Road Runner (TGT).
