Candyman is one of the playable characters from the fighting game Lethal League.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Candyman is a tap-dancing dandy with a big yellow head. He is stated to be a "human mutant", and if his slightly odd appearance and mannerisms are not sufficiently explained by said mutation, the fact that his "home stage" appears to be a padded cell probably does the trick. Look, we're not saying he might be a bit crazy, but if regular people do have their bag of marbles, that of Candyman probably has a pretty sizable hole in it.
As it is, Candyman apparently took enough candy to realize that the laws of physics are more of a polite suggestion than a firm rule. This means he has the odd tendency to disappear at one end of the stage and reappear at its respective other side, and also can extend this trait to the very ball that adds the 'lethal' trait to Lethal League. It also means fighting a dedicated Candyman player is an absolute nightmare, and you might as well quit before the crossfire starts.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 1[edit | edit source]
He made his first appearance in 8chanmania XXXVI, where he squared off against Monkeybone, but was swiftly defeated after the monkey went apeshit on him. His body is now possessed by his former opponent, and Candyman is forced to watch himself eat all of his favorite candy without getting to taste just one bit of it.
Season 2[edit | edit source]
With the monkey spirit apparently having been excorcized from him, Candyman joined the tag team-themed 8chanmania LIII with Spongebob Squarepants ub tiw. The yellow menace managed to defeat Bondrewd and Dr Robotnik, but were out-CHIM'd by Los Tiburon and Vivec in the following round.
