Captain Falcon is is a recurring character in (and the unofficial protagonist of) the F-Zero series. He also shown up as a playable character in every Smash Bros game as of yet.

Bio[edit | edit source]

It is not entirely clear who exactly Captain Falcon is. Popular rumor has it that he either once was a big shot in the Space Police, a renowned bounty hunter, or the proprietor of a small bar in Mute City. Some go so far as to claim that Captain Falcon does not truly exist, but simply is a title handed down from one man to another. Which parts of this is true and which one is false remains a mystery.

What is known beyond doubt is that Captain Falcon is one of the most renowned pilots in the F-Zero races; regularly overtaking opponents at breackneck speeds well exceeding several hundred miles per hour while driving his personalized hover-car.

Other than racing sports, Captain Falcon also seems to be an experienced hand-to-hand combatant. His Falcon Punch signature move may be a tad slow unless he performs while being inside a driving vehicle, but he nonetheless is a fighter who heavily relies on the speed and accuracy of his moves.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

Captain Falcon appeared at some point during Season 1. As usual, we have no idea where. His first documented appearance was during 8chanmania XI, where the good Captain landed a K.O. of himself against Asura before getting the boot by Felicia in the next round.

Captain Falcon likewise took part in 8chanmania XX, where he formed a tag team with Viewtiful Joe. Unfortunately, they got kicked out of the preliminaries by Demifiend and Gene, specifically through a crit of Demifiend against Falcon.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

The bird of prey resurfaced in 8chanmania XLI. He showed Mach Rider his moves and even faced the dreaded Clown, but then made the mistake of angering Shaggy Rogers enough to make him enter his prime form. He left the tournament shortly after.

Like a true hero, Captain Falcon apparently ended his career in a blaze of glory during 8chanmania XLVI - he defeated and inadvertently disintegrated the sarashi/chest binding of Daidouji. One round later, he bombed Tanya harder than she could have bombed any Soviet tank, and went on to put the 8chanmania Ring itself onto the mat. Indeed, even The Cheetahmen could not stop him and when the falcon finally was forced to land at the hands of R-23, it was not a sad ending.

Retirement/Rebirth[edit | edit source]

Rather than taking grievance from his defeat, Captain Falcon instead handled his own mantle down to R-23; thus creating Captain Falcon R. Whether or not promoting a mass-produced clone which chiefly was trained for military combat into a race driver was a good idea is everyone's best bit, but as so often, time will show.
