Chesnaught is a Grass/Fighting-type Pokémon, first debuting in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire.
Bio[edit | edit source]
If Chesnaught's starter form Chespin resembles an adorable mixture between an adorable hedgehog and the spiky outer shell of a chestnut, Chesnaught itself resembles a mixture between a a less adorable hedgehog and the dense outer shell of a spiked-studded wrecking ball. Its kinetic properties upon impact certainly are close enough, as its habit of ramming and flipping over tanks can attest.
Despite of its intimidating strength, Chesnaught supposedly is a gentle Pokémon, and intensely protective of those it cares about. It is a very convenient trait when you suddenly find yourself with the bipedal equivalent of a bomb shelter between you and a perceived threat, but potentially less convenient when said bomb shelter pops upon between you and what it perceives to be a threat.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Chesnaught fought in the Pokémon-themed 8chanmania LIV; with Teagan Almace serving as its trainer. Its dense armor should have made it a fitting opponent for the Hydreigon of Ganon, but as it turned out, not even being bomb-proof can protect you from random weapon KOs.
