Smoke is a playable fighter from the Mortal Kombat series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Originally a young ninja of the Lin Kuei clan alongside a young Sub-Zero, Smoke accompanied the latter in a failed attempt to kill Shang Tsung. By the time of their return, the horrified young men realized that the Lin Kuei had begun to forcefully transform their most elite warriors into cyborgs. But where Sub-Zero managed to escape this fate, Smoke proverbially had the gear put into his rear. He subsequently failed to kill Sub-Zero on behalf of his clan, was reprogrammed into a minion of Shao Khan, turned into a henchman of Noob Saibot, and finally got killed by Nitara after Sub-Zero managed to restore his more moral side.
In an alternate universe, Smoke was spared from being turned into a cyborg while Sub-Zero (who is actually Bi-Han [who is actually Noob Saibot) got mechanized instead. It's a mess, really.
True to his name, Smoke is a stealth specialized fighter that can disappear in a proverbial cloud of smoke at this time and choosing. Things only get worse after his body was seemingly turned into a hive of smoke-like nanomachines that could disassemble and reassemble at his will. His only known weakness is a sufficiently powerful electric fan.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Smoke only appeared in 8chanmania VI, and nothing beyond him not winning a belt is known.
