The Elite Zealot is a variety of the Sangheili Zealot from Halo: Combat Evolved.
Bio[edit | edit source]
While the Sangheli are a martial culture and their servitude to the Covenant means their males serve as a warrior class, only the fiercest of their fighters are enlisted into the ranks of the zealots. Equipped with superior armor, energy shields, and their signature twinned plasma blades (see a pattern here?), it is sort of self-explanatory that their human enemies often nickname them as 'Elites'.
Zealots are not part of the conventional Covenent military (which is run by the Ministry of Resolution), but rather come from a myriad of different warrior orders under supervision of the Ministry of Fervent Intercession. This grants them a certain degree of independence, although they still have to suck up to the Covenant's space popes, and still get shot in the face by Master Chief.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
An Elite Zealot fought in the 2000s-themed 8chanmania LXXXVI. It battered Custom Ray 01 until the latter tapped out, but then ate a KO at the hands of Rolf, Son of Rolf.
