Garfield is the titular protagonist of the long-running comic series drawn by Jim Davis.
In Reality[edit | edit source]
Garfield is everything a cat is supposed to be; namely lazy, fat, and thoroughly unhelpful towards his owner Jon Arbuckle and fellow pet dog Odie. Born and subsequently adopted from a trash can behind an Italian restaurant, he is absolutely infatuated with lasagna and likely could have conquered the planet if he didn't consider the mere act of breathing a form of physical exercise. Any attempts to motivate him into being something more than a glorified slob usually are met with vaguely witty and/or philosophical one-liners.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 1[edit | edit source]
His first recorded appearance was during 8chanmania XVII, although anything beyond the fact that he participated was unknown.
One week later, during 8chanmania XVIII, Garfield went apeshit on Funky Kong, but failed to meet the dress code of the Office Oni.
During 8chanmania XXIII, Garfield disqualified the freakish Clown-Cat hybrid Cheown via ringout, and made successful pinfalls on both Iris and Henry of Skalitz. His participation in the tournament ended through a nasty crit at the hands of Chris Benoit.
He later reappeared during 8chanmania XXXII, where he met a quick end after facing the dank maymays of Nigra.
Season 2[edit | edit source]
The fat cat threw its hat into the ring in 8chanmania LV. Tempted by the promise of a one-million calorie lasagna, Garfield defeated Lopunny, Citizen Snips, Soulja-tan and even the dreaded Mr. Bones, but was booted out by the bare soles of JC Denton during the finals.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
The fat cat did it again for 8chanmania LXXI. He deepened the dislike Urist McDwarf holds against cats and offered no laughs at the antics of Mr. Do, yet his metaphysical degree of laziness could not withstand the metaphysical fuckery of Baba.
