Gex is the eponymous protagonist of the Gex series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Having inherited a generous sum of money from his late uncle, Gex has no need to lower himself to things such as 'work' and instead spends all of his time with the much more meaningful act of watching TV. This has turned him into a walking encyclopedia of movie culture and cineastic quotes - a trait that has become very useful when Gex once again has to venture inside the bizarre "Media Dimension", and stop his nemesis Rex from turning TV even trashier than it was to begin with.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 1[edit | edit source]
As with most fighters who debuted in the first season of 8chanmania, it's no longer known when or where exactly Gex first showed up. That being said, there's a fairly good candidate in the form of 8chanmania XXVI. The latter saw him beating Crash Bandicoot to a pulp, only to get his tail pulled off by the perpetually irate Johnny Turbo in the next round.
Season 2[edit | edit source]
He would only reappear in 8chanmania XLIV, where he partnered up with fellow jump'n'run hero Crash. The two evidently had seen better days, as was made clear when they immediately lost against Round Bear and Round Seal.
Very much a child of the 90s, Gex's participation in the retro-styled 8chanmania LII was pretty much a given. He did the world a major favor by removing Bubsy from the premises and likewise won his next match against Kraid, yet did not manage to stand up to Pepsiman.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
Gex' visit to 8chanmania XCIV was fairly short - he got booted out by Rico Rodriguez right during the preliminaries.
