Hideo Kojima is a movie director that is forced to develop videogames.
Bio[edit | edit source]
While Kojima could have grown up as a normal, well-adjusted child, the fact that his parents forced him to watch feature-length movies with them each night had unhealthy consequences for his future upbringing. His understandable aspirations towards becoming a screenwriter only turned things worse when Konami suddenly recruited him for its MSX game division; turning the young man towards a path he could no longer escape.
His subsequent career was marked by mildly popular titles like Snatcher, Metal Gear, and Policenauts, but his attempt to save the rapidly sinking Silent Hill apparently caused enough anger in Konami to give him the boot. That Konami did not even bother to pull off said boot before it went on to shoot itself in the foot with a weapon to surpass Metal Gear was a source of mild irritation to some people.
To play the devil's advocate, Kojima's departure from the stranglehold of Konami meant he finally could return to his original aspiration of making movies. He thus went on to develop Death Stranding.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Kojima's sole appearance was in 8chanmania III. Sadly, our dog ate our homework, and nothing beyond him not winning a belt is known.
