Tracy Lauren Marrow, better known under his stage name Ice-T, is an US-American musician and actor.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Like many aspiring rap artists, Ice-T had a somewhat troubled childhood (losing both of his parents before he turned fourteen), and had a somewhat troubled relationship relationship with the law that saw him involved in everything from stealing car radios to pimping out hookers. Unlike most rap artists, he also dabbed in heavy metal; resulting in a band called Body Count and the mildly controversial song Cop Killer.
What endeared Ice-T to 8chan, however, was his acting career. More specifically, him playing Sergeant Fin Tutoula in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. And even more specifically, his role in the GamerGate-inspired episode Intimidation Game, where the SUV has to avenge a female game developer that gets bullied and eventually raped by the infamous hacker known as redchan.it.
What probably was meant to be a deeply serious story about gamers literally being Hitler immediately turned into an unwitting parody, as Hollywood's conception of 'computer guys' still hasn't moved beyond 'some nerd that's having an epileptic seizure over his keyboard'. The episode thus was deemed a great source of memes and merriment; and had its own board (/redchanit/) on 8chan itself.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Ice-T fought in the board wars of 8chanmania LXII, where he unsurprisingly represented /redchanit/. He actually had a fairly good first matchup against fellow rap artist-slash-metalhead MC Ride, but be it because Ice-T was mostly created as a joke edit or because MC Ride is fucking MC Ride, the match soon spelled 'Game Over' for him.
