The Imperial Stormtrooper is a common mook from the Star Wars series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
While the Galactic Empire can draw upon tools ranging from iron feet of its armored walkers to the apocalyptic firepower of the Death Star (at least until the latter gets blown up by rebels again), the true might of the Empire rests upon the untold millions of humble Stormtroopers - men, women, and whatever alien they could press into the faceless suit of of armor that effectively became their new identity.
While often disregarded over their general inability to hit the broad side of a barn with their E-11 blaster rifles, one has to bear in mind that Stormtroopers generally are set up against whatever Spielberg or Disney cooked up this time, meaning even a perfectly-aimed shot will mysteriously change course in mid-flight due to physical anomalies caused by bullshit-tier levels of plot armor.
As such, the eternal meme of Stormtroopers being hilariously incompetent only holds up when the writers wanted them to lose anyway. Given that the Galactic Empire presumably did not conquer a few hundred star systems with free hugs and candy alone, their effectiveness speaks for itself. As does the Empire's ability to yeet several planet's worth of them at anyone that dares to get uppity.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
A lone Imperial Stormtrooper appeared in 8chanmania LXXXIV. He, alongside the Wreckage Brother, served as the back-up mooks for Darth Vader and Bane when the latter tried to forcibly recruit Galsia and his freshly-spawned clones into their ranks. The epic four-versus-four match that ensued technically ended with a win for the dark force, but through a valiant sacrifice from one of his lesser copies, Galsia managed to flee the ring.
