Iris is a recurring character from the Mega Man X series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Gentle and kind-hearted, Iris is a reploid that served as a navigator (i.e., mission control) for the operatives of the Maverick Hunters - a sort of police force tasked with taking out other reploids suffering from severe anger issues. In this role, she serves as the customary voice in the head and/or voice of consciousness for both Mega Man X and Zero.
Like most support characters, Iris has a long and incredibly convoluted background story. To make said story short: She's still inferior to Roll.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Iris debuted in 8chanmania XXIII, where she put the smackdown on Ratchet, but then lost to Garfield in the best-of-sixteen.
She also appeared in 8chanmania LXIII; apparently having thrown in her lot with Hatsune Miku. She set Tronne Bonne to 'bon voyage', and then set the Mega Man part of the crowd into white-hot fury by getting done in by Foxy Rena of all things.
As a Manager[edit | edit source]
In tradition with the games, Iris served as the manager of Mega Man X in 8chanmania XCVII, and took up the same role for the Mega Man X/Zero tag team in 8chanmania LXXVI.
