Jacket is the main protagonist of Hotline Miami and a side character in Hotline Miami II.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Operating from an unkempt apartment, Jacket makes a living by taking cryptic calls from his answering machine, donning one of various animal-themed masks, and then butchering what generally amounts to one or two buildings' worth of Russian mobsters in a homicidal killing spree. While the effectiveness and brutality he displays on the job suggests he has some experience in the field, Jacket's tendency towards vivid hallucinations also indicate the constant killing might have taken a slight toll on his sanity.
In battle, Jacket employs a dazzling plethora of different guns and melee weapons, and may flatly rip a man's throat out if he happens to be unarmed. His greatest strength, however, is the uncanny speed at which the killer eliminates mobsters left and right while racing through assorted mafia hideouts; with many of his victims barely having the chance to react before they die from lead poisoning or blunt force trauma. Jacket's only known weakness is his extremely poor luck with women.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Jacket debuted in 8chanmania III, but we only know he didn't win the belt.
His first semi-recorded appearance was in 8chanmania XXIX, where he faced Tommy Vercetti. Again, missing documentation means neither the outcome nor any of his potential further progress is known.
