Jake Conway is the protagonist of Ride to Hell: Retribution.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Having earned his mandatory PTSD during his tour in 'nam, Jake earnestly wanted to get away from all the violence. Unfortunately, he has a bit of a family issue with a local biker gang, which only worsens when said gang cuts the throat of his younger brother and leaves a bullet in Jake's forehead. Jake somehow survives this ordeal, but understandably wakes up with a major headache.
As the game's title suggests, the rest of the game is all about vengeance. Against the player, that is. Originally scheduled for a 2009 release, Ride to Hell's four-year-stint in development hell (and its original developer, Deep Silver Vienna going belly-up) led to a hilariously broken, unfinished mess of a game whose only saving grace is its unintentional comedy value.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Jake Conway fought in the Bad Games Mania of 8chanmania LXXII. Mistaking the jovial El Neng for a pushover was his first mistake. Questioning the looks of El Neng's car was his last.
