Jecht is a character from Final Fantasy X.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Once the best blitzball player in the entirety of Samarkand, Jecht's alcoholism ruined his skill to the point that he abandoned his wife and then seven-year-old son Tidus to train at the sea. He, along a dishonored warrior monk named Auron, would later become a body guard of sorts for the disgraced priest Braska in his quest to kill the local equivalent of Moby Dick.
Jecht superficially has a disagreeable character - he is proud, arrogant, and so full of himself that it's a miracle he does not burst when earning a well-deserved slap on the face. But all this bravado hides a man that is fundamentally good at heart and will help other people for no other reason than because "it's the right thing to do". In particular, Jecht loves his son and dreams of turning him into a blitzball player with the same reputation he enjoyed, yet his severe lack of communicative skills mean he utterly fails to bring the message across.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Jecht debuted in 8chanmania LIX. He apparently hit the bottle prior to his first match, and little else could explain his resounding defeat against Johnny Maximum.
His second appearance was in 8chanmania XC. There, Jecht earned his first victory against Orochi, only to have his shit kicked in by King Ramses for not returning the slab.
