Karl Franz is the leader of the human Empire from Warhammer Fantasy.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Karl Franz serves as the emperor to the aptly-named Empire - which is not the Holy Roman Empire, but close enough. Like his real-world counterparts, he constantly has to deal with uppity elector counts and various other petty nobles that range from corrupt to hilariously insane. Unlike aforementioned counterparts, Karl Franz also has to deal with mutant vikings, mutants mushrooms, mutant goats, and even Count Dracula's zombie army; which just won't stop humping his borders.
To the fortune of his subjects, Karl Franz is one of the few leaders of the Empire that's actually competent instead of serving as glorified joke character. Armed with the dwarven warhammer Ghal-Maraz once wielded by the deified Sigmar himself, his skills as a warrior and general are evenly matched with that of a diplomat and administrator. Under his rule, the Empire prospered, and might even have lifted itself out of its perpetual state of crisis.
Then GW flipped the chessboard so it could sell more Space Marines awkwardly modelled as fantasy warriors.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Karl Franz debuted in 8chanmania XXVII. After a merely verbal match over who was and wasn't the actual Emperor, he got pinned by Indrick Boreale.
His sole other appearance was in 8chanmania C, where he participated in the Historical Harrowing. How exactly he fared there is unknown; safe for the fact that Utsuho Reiuji went on to go full Hiroshima on them all.
