Keith Flint was the vocalist and front man of the British electronic dance band The Prodigy.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Keith was a happy and chipper youth that got himself kicked out of school at the age of fifteen. Already a fan of the local acid house scene, his regular visits to rave clubs eventually had him run into then-amateur DJ Liam Howell. Howell gave him his mixtape, which left Flint so impressed that he offered he and his buddy Leeroy Thornhill would dance for him if he took it to the stage. Cue The Prodigy.

With hit songs like Firestarter and Smack My Bitch Up that would invariably worm their way into every playlist ever downloaded from Limewire in the late 90s and early 2000s, Flint became an icon for an entire generation of teenage kids and subsequent ravers. Sadly, his bouts of depression and work-related drug abuse meant he was found dangling from the ceiling of his home on March 4th, 2019.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Flint (along with the equally dead Neil Peart and Elvis Presley) served as the backup band/cheerleader squad for Buddy Holly during the post-mortem 8chanmania LXXXI. He hoped Buddy would win the tournament so their shared legacy would always be remembered, but though Buddy was defeated by Scatman John, the latter readily pointed out people were not going to forget either of them anytime soon.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Aside from adrenaline-fueled hobbies like bike racing, Flint also was an avid bird watcher.
