Kung Fu Man is a default character shipped with all versions of MUGEN.
Bio[edit | edit source]
True to his name, Kung Fu Man is a skilled martial artist. While having a walk with his girlfriend one evening, he suddenly was attacked by the henchmen of the evil Suave Dude. Although he manages to fight off the attackers, the latter have already abducted his girlfriend; setting up Kung Fu Man for an epic quest of revenge against Suave Dude.
Leaving this excuse plot aside, Kung Fu Man mostly serves as a default character to illustrate the growing capacities of each subsequent MUGEN release. As new players can also load him up to have a glimpse at all the little gears that make him turn, he can somewhat be likened to John Smith.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Kung Fu Man's sole appearance was in 8chanmania XIII. For what it's worth, he neatly KO'd Spongebob Squarepants during the preliminaries, showed Friedrich Nietzsche, and inked the Inkling Girl in the quarter finals. Things turned sour when he ran into Yellow Devil, as there's only so much Kung Fu can do against shape memory parts.
