Martin Tweed is a major character from the sandbox/exploration game Journey to the Savage Planet.
Bio[edit | edit source]
As the CEO of Kindred Aerospace (the world's "fourth-best Interstellar Exploration Company"), Tweed has an ambitious dream: He wants to see humanity spreading to the stars; colonizing and settling upon untamed worlds across the vast boundaries of space, so that humanity can unlock its full potential. And escape good old planet Earth while it faces an ecological collapse due to rampant over-pollution.
Of course, Tweed being a thinly-veiled parody of Elon Musk (and/or every 21st-century megacorp CEO) also makes him a cheerfully sociopathic narcissist. By the way, budget cuts meant the ship you took to explore the eponymous savage planet only came with enough fuel for a one-way trip. And no tools beyond the barest minimum. But Tweed is counting on you, and don't you dare come home empty-handed.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Knowing that the best way to prove they're the best at what they do lies in beating out the competition (figuratively, if need be), Martin Tweed entered 8chanmania LXXXIX as a publicity stunt. Said stunt soon became very real when he had to fight against the G-Man, but since the camera was still running, Tweed managed to keep up his buddy-next-door corporate persona just long enough to have Animal Mother turn down his business proposal.
