Matt is a Mii character that originally starred in Wii Sports, and also appeared in Wii Sports Resort, Wii Party, and Switch Sports.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Miis, for the most part, are cheerful little figures whose design and the games they appear in both are meant to cater to a casual audience. They truthfully are fairly forgettable affairs; being as generic as they come and having no personality beyond their names and one or two sports they are good at. Most players would be hard-pressed to actually remember any of said names, but with Matt, there was one exception.
In the original Wii Sports, Matt was the trainer, final boss, and a goddamn monstrosity in the Boxing minigame that would gleefully disregard the players' limited reaction speed due to the shortcomings of their primitive flesh. Nintendo subsequently kept him as the #1 champion in Wii Party, and a secret, unlockable boss for Switch Sports Chambara event; adding further material to his legend.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Matt fought in 8chanmania LXXIX. He was less than impressed with his first "Neon sign on crack" opponent Cycloid Gamma, but grudgingly agreed to the fight after Violet threatened to put him into a tennis tournament, instead. To add insult to injury, the Cycloid didn't even bother to copy his boxing moves, leaving Matt woefully unprepared to when he ate the resulting beatdown.
