Meowth is a Normal-type pokemon from the Pokemon series that also starred in the respective anime.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Meowth is a feline, nocturnal pokemon that is obsessed with round objects. It is particularly attracted to coins, and will frequently fight Murkrows over this gleaming treasure.
The Meowth of Team Rocket is one of the few pokemon that is capable of human speech; having painstakingly forced himself to adopt the foreign language in order to impress a female Meowth. Things did not work out, and though Team Rocket's leader Giovanni took in the talkative pokemon for a while, it ultimately was delegated into mascot status for Jessie and James.
As a Manager[edit | edit source]
One of the only Pokemon in existence who can speak human language, Meowth has made a strong living robbing blind managing Pokemon who make their way into the fighting circuits. Meowth made his debut in 8chanmania XLI, providing translation services for Pikachu Libre. A few early victories put dollar signs in Meowth's eyes, but a Quarterfinal loss to Wailmer put Libre out of the tournament. Sensing that he had found a real champ in the making, Meowth offered to become manager for the plucky whale, an offer Wailmer promptly refused via a Body Slam. Meowth's intuition turned out to be correct in the end as Wailmer wound up winning the belt.
As a Fighter[edit | edit source]
Meowth itself debuted in 8chanmania LXXXII. Needless to say, it tried to pull off the same bullshit it always does, but this fell on deaf ears when it came to the equally greedy Wario.
