The Mosquito Man (also known as Barsad) is the hidden star of Christopher Nolan's magnum opus The Dark Knight Rises.
Bio[edit | edit source]
The Mosquito Man is a a vaguely Eastern European (and/or Scottish) lad who serves as the personal right-hand man of Bane. While the movie never bothers to give us so much as his name, it is him who delivers Dr. Pavel and a disguised big guy to CIA to ensure he doesn't fly so good. He (and Bane's freshly-acquired nuke) also were instrumental in the later takeover of Gotham city itself.
Mosquito Man is a gentleman of many talents: He is an excellent negotiator, as shown when he politely convinced the US army not to retake Gotham by force - or risk having the whole place blown up by aforementioned nuke. He also knows his way around a sniper rifle, as showcased when he laid down covering fire to protect the escape route of his brethren-in-arms from an approaching SWAT unit.
Unfortunately, Mosquito Man lost his life while serving as a bodyguard to some ghoul girl; with him getting shot in the back by some cowardly, second-grade police officer. But even as his limp body tumbled down from the evil version of the Batmobile, Mosquito Man and the glow in his eyes when he muttered that singular "Aye" still lives on in the heart of all truly big guys.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
As part of his plan to take over the Christmas-themed 8chanmania LXXXIV, Bane called in Mosquito Man and two of his goons to bully Bowling Elf into letting them have his place in the tournament. They evidently chose the wrong victim, as a very irate elf went on to total the whole lot of them in a 47-minute one-versus-three match.
