Neo Dio is A FUCKING JOJO REFERENCE?! from the SNK fighting game World Heroes 2 Jet.
Bio[edit | edit source]
In a far-away future, an evil secret society named Damned created an artificial, humanoid killing machine named Geegus. Why? So World Heroes 1 could have an endboss, duh. After Geegus was defeated, he created a second one, Dio. Except Dio actually proved to be a bit unruly (in that he utterly destroyed Damned) and went went travelling through time; murdering people left and right in the hopes of fiding someone who could best him.
Well, Dio got bested in World Heroes 2. So he used a few tricks from his makers to fuse with a now-ascended Neo Geegus to become Neo Dio - stronger, faster, and with way more fabulous hair than before. Just like before his upgrade, Neo Dio's liquid metal body can shapeshift to assume various forms; including that of a particularly foul-tempered dragon. And just like before, he gets floored by the series main protagonist, Hanzou Hattori.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Neo Dio, under management of his hilariously oblivious retainer Enrico Pucci, fought in 8chanmania XCV. His attempt to start his killing spree with King Harkinian ended the moment the royal started beating the SHIP out of him. Rumor has it he's still scrubbing floors to this day.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Both Neo Dio and his original form are thinly-disguised love letters to JoJo author Hirohiko Araki; incorporating (and/or stealing from) characters like Dio Brando, Kars, and Baoh from his earlier work of the same name.
