PS3-tan is the console mascot of the PlayStation 3
Bio[edit | edit source]
Designed as part of the seventh generation of gaming consoles, PS3-tan sought to distinguish herself from the competition over at Microsoft and Nintendo by coming with several technical upgrades: She was the first console to use blu-ray discs as storage medium, the first console with an HDMI port, and the first console to run games in 1080p mode, and the first console with remote play mode.
This makes her a girl whose pride more than often borders arrogance. But pride comes before the fall, and in her case, she doesn't even have any games to cushion the fall. Yes, the joke is over-used. No, we won't stop making it. Because someone at Sony really thought charging you six-hundred dollaridoos to play Uncharted and The Last of Us was a good idea.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
PS3-tan appeared in a plot segment of 8chanmania LXXXVI. She and her games were summoned into the ring by Horatio the First in order to stop Punished /v/ from saving the Horatio'd /b/rotha. Her personal frustration with /v/ ensured this was a job she performed with great relish, and against all odds, she and her games managed to defeat Punished /v/ via pinfall.
