Peacock is a character from the fighting game Skullgirls. In essence, she is a young girl whose once crippled body was "upgraded" with an arsenal of mildly to severely lethal weapons, turning her into a living weapon herself in order to fight the eponymous Skullgirls.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Peacock once was a regular human girl by the name of Patricia Watson who lived in an orphanage in Rommelgrad. She was eventually captured by slave traders, but as she proved too deviant to be a good slave, she instead was mutilated, with her limbs hacked off and her eyes gouged out as a warning to the other girls from the orphanage. After being freed from her captors, Peacock's wounds initially were deemed too severe to save her life, but the eccentric Dr. Avian had the bright idea of turning her into a bio-mechanical killing machine by implanting her with various lethal tools (notably the Argus System and the Avery Unit).
Perhaps unsurprisingly, her torture and her new body have left Peacock as a batshit insane instrument of murder, and the only thing she enjoys more than beating the crap out of people are 80's style Saturday Morning Cartoons.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 1[edit | edit source]
Peacock first starred in 8chanmania XX, where she formed a tag team with Big Band. Together, the two defeated:
- Ryuko Matoi & Shadow the Hedgehog
- Fox McCloud & Krystal
- Demifiend & Gene
- Nord Huscarl & Sarranid Mamluk
- Clown & Chen
As the belt is only large enough for one person, she eventually had to fight Big Band in person and made the pseudo-musician tap out by a rather suprising Lip Lock.
Being one of the 8chanmania champions, Peacock fought in the grand finals of 8chanmania XXXIII. Her cartoon violence proved much more brutal than that of Sam & Max but even her obscene amount of integrated weaponry proved useless against Sly Marbo.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
After presumably watching cartoons for the entire duration of the second season, Peacock finally returned for 8chanmania LXXXIII. The erstwhile champion delivered a good show against Junko Enoshima and thoroughly denied the sexual advances of Kyu, only to somehow draw the short end of the stick while facing K.K. Slider.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Peacocks completely black eyes strongly resemble that of the cartoon characters she is based on, but actually are pitch-black because they are merely empty sockets. The Argus system installed on her artificial arm is the only thing that gives her a sense of vision.
- Peacock has demonstrated an innate understanding of The Honk during the bout with Clown and Chen at 8chanmania XX, including translation.
