Pingu is the protagonist of the eponymous children's show.

Pingu is an anthropomorphic emperor penguin who lives in an igloo at the South Pole. He and the rest of his family go on all sorts of heartwarming and wholesome adventures, including Pingu running away from home after his parents spank him for not eating his seaweed (Pingu Runs Away), Pingu losing control himself because he can't get on the loo (Little Accidents), and Pingu breaking his foot after making fun of disabled people (Pingu and the Game of Fish).
Originally a Swiss production, Pingu's endearing stop-motion looks and the gibberish spoken by Pingu being equally incomprehensible for viewers of all languages made it a global hit. In other words, it was immediately sold off to an American media conglomerate after its original run, and it is a small miracle it managed to maintain its trademark stop-motion technique until Mattel and NHK finally hit it with the CGI stick in 2017.

Pingu's first and only appearance in 8chanmania was at 8chanmania IX. Here, he faced fellow penguin Grape-kun but found out the hard way that true love is not to be messed with when he got thrown out of the ring for a count of 20.
