Primeape is a Fighting-type Pokémon, first debuting in Pokémon Red & Blue.
Bio[edit | edit source]
As the evolved form of the already short-tempered Mankey, Primeape sports heightened strength, greater endurance, and an even worse temper. Describing it as being stuck in a literal chimp-out mode arguably would be racist, but this being a Japanese series, any arguments about racism will be laughed right out of the room alongside the gooks and gaijins.
Whenever Primeape feels offended (which can be achieved by anything from unintentional eye contact to just being in its vague vicinity), it will furiously chase after the perpetrators until it can beat the snot out of them. Or gets the snot beaten out of it - pulling this stunt in a world where random ferrets can magically vomit hyper beams doesn't always work out.
Primeape is, as a matter of fact, so goddamn angry, its rage will eventually transcend its physical body. Which is to say even the highly-adapted blood vessels in its brain succumb to and burst from its constant hypertension. Unfortunately for everyone else, this mostly means Primeape evolves into the Ghost/Fighting-type Annihilape, whose fury is no longer bound by physical constraints.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Primeape fought in the Pokémon-themed 8chanmania LIV; with Dr. Morbis serving as its trainer. The killer chimp clapped the Liepard of The Cheetahmen right into the floor, but presumably overexerted itself and tapped out against the Machamp of Aniki in the following round.
