R-24 is a former Replica Soldier who gained the capacity for free will (and impressive moves) after being abducted to fight in 8chanmania.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Much like his genetic sibling R-23, R-24 is one of hundreds upon hundreds of clones the American defense contractor Armacham secretly produced to have its own private army. Of course, no-one at Armacham could have foreseen that psychically slaving these killing machines to a psychotic freak with severe mommy issues could end up biting them in the arse, but it's not like man's first attempts at flight resulted in anything but crash landings.
Speaking of crash landings, the attempt of GLaDOS to forcibly recruit R-24 for her ongoing experiments also proved to be a bit of a blunder: Rather than ending up in the same holding cell as R-23, a portal malfunction ejected him into a long-abandoned storage area clotted with rusting arcade machines. The only of these relics that still worked happened to be a vintage System 573 cabinet of Dance Dance Revolution - and with his mind being a blank slate, R-24 began to dance.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
R-24 debuted as R-23's partner/manager during 8chanmania 8chanmania XLVI, but quickly was pushed into the background as Nanami became 23's new support character.
He himself first fought in 8chanmania LVI. The Replica showed his submissions skills as he forced both Earthworm Jim and Needles Kane the clown in the former, but got totaled by the sane and sound Dilbert.
R-24's sole other solo dance was in 8chanmania LXIX. He landed a crushing KO on "Dosh King" Kaneo Takarada, but then ate a jaw-dropping crit himself at the hands of Rolf.
