Ratchet is the bi-protagonist of the Ratchet & Clank series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Ratchet used to live a pretty lonely life as an orphan mechanic on the planet of Veldin. He was just about done building his first starship to get off the damn rock when the robot Clank crash-landed on his planet. Ratchet recovered him; earning him not only the robotic ignition system he still needed for his ship, but also a message concerning the impending destruction of a peacefully inhabited planet. It goes without saying that Ratchet and his new buddy Clank went off to throw a spanner into that gear.
Ratchet himself as a Iombax - a species of vaguely feline humanoids that date back to an age where having a furry character did not immediately draw forth hordes of yiffing yokels. He's a fairly skilled shot and overall good guy along his engineering skills, but more than once, Ratchet has to forcibly put his personal wants (i.e. throwing Captain Qwark into the heart of an active star) beyond the overall moral of the story.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Ratchet fought in 8chanmania XXIII, where all of his engineering skills did little to help him against the high-tech thighs of Iris.
